Give your agent a real computer

Agents come with a virtual computer, but most company tools block logins from virtual environments. The desktop app gives agents a real Mac - just like any employee would have - so they can sign into everything and work without restrictions.

Download for macOS

Not sure which to pick? If your Mac was made after 2020, it's likely Apple Silicon.

No blocked logins

Services trust real computers. Your agent can sign into company email, Slack, CRM, and every other tool - just like a real employee on their work laptop.

SSO and 2FA compatible

Company SSO, two-factor authentication, and security policies that reject virtual environments work seamlessly on a physical Mac.

Full filesystem access

Agents can work with local files, download and process documents, manage repositories, and interact with any desktop application.

Shell and browser

Full terminal access for running commands, scripts, and dev tools. A real Chrome browser for navigating any web application without restrictions.

Why a dedicated Mac?

Think of it like hiring an employee - you wouldn't ask them to share your computer. A dedicated Mac gives your agent its own workspace where browser sessions, files, and logins persist across tasks without conflicting with your own work.

Getting started

  1. Open the downloaded DMG and drag Octavus Agents to your Applications folder.
  2. Launch the app - a pairing code will appear on screen.
  3. Sign in to Octavus, go to Devices, and enter the pairing code to connect your machine.
  4. Assign agents to your device from the agent settings page.

Want to test first? You can install the app on your own Mac to try it out. When you're ready for your agent to work independently, set up a dedicated machine.
